Custom-made polyamide

Ultramid® and Miramid® are polyamide compounds on the basis of PA 6 and PA 66. The product range is augmented by various copolyamides such as PA 66/6 and partially aromatic polyamide. Owing to their outstanding properties, these materials have become indispensable in almost all areas of technology for all kinds of components and machine elements, but also as high-quality electrical insulating materials.

Ultramid® and Miramid® stand out for their high mechanical strength, stiffness and thermal resistance. Moreover, these polyamides exhibit good toughness at low temperatures, favorable sliding friction behavior and problem-free processing.
